GHS Week 37 Newsletter

Brett has worked with GHS for 5 months at our Lexington location and was nominated for the driver interview this week!

What motivates you at work?

"Providing for my kids."

What is one thing that you wish people knew about your job?

"We deliver the package, we can't control when you receive your package."

What advice would you give to new drivers?

Don't ever assume, ask questions if you don't know.

Metric of the Week - Speeding Event

Tips from AMZL to succeed!

  • There is no acceptable business reason to ever speed/violate posted speed limits.

  • If you are unaware of the speed limit, proceed at a speed below what is normal for the type/location of road you are on, until you are able to confirm the posted speed limit.

  • Anticipate and adjust in advance of speed reduction areas (work zones, on/off ramps, school zones, lane closures, etc.) and take precaution to not over-accelerate when passing, traveling on on-ramp, changing speed limit zones, etc.
